STAFF and pupils at Bratton Primary School are getting ready for a special Disney themed scarecrow trail taking place from Saturday 24th June to Sunday 2nd July to tie into Bratton’s village week.
The scarecrow trail event will consist of a whole week of creative, outdoor fun for local children, their families and friends, locating 35 homemade Disney themed scarecrows dotted around the Bratton village, with a trail map available to purchase for families and local residents to follow and complete.
All completed trail sheets will be entered into a grand prize draw – money raised will be going towards the school. There will be a prize for the best scarecrow.
A school spokesperson says, “The excitement is building, and we are pleased to officially announce the launch of our Disney themed scarecrow trail to tie into Bratton village week! This is the first time we have hosted a scarecrow trail and following on from other villages who already host these events, we are expecting it to be very successful and attended by people from all the surrounding towns and villages.
“We are working very hard behind the scenes to ensure this becomes a well-loved annual event for the whole local community to enjoy. Please do add the dates to your diaries and share the poster with families and friends! Over the coming weeks we will be revealing the fantastic prizes we have for the completed trail maps!”
Trail maps can be picked up from Bratton Primary School, Bratton village shop, and The Duke pub from Thursday 1st June. For more information contact admin@bratton.wilts .sch.uk
