EASTER was celebrated at All Saints Church by students from Westbury Junior School by taking part in an Easter Jubilation.
Victoria Withers, assistant headteacher said, “Westbury Juniors went to All Saints Church for a spectacular Easter service. As the school processed up to church, children waved colourful ribbons and sang songs.
“Once there, the children retold the story of Easter through the Stations of the Cross acting out Jesus’ last days. During one of the celebration songs, the school’s prayer council carried the cross into the middle of the church and wrapped flowers around it to celebrate and signify the rebirth of Jesus.”
Teacher Ms Marsh added, “It was a vibrant, varied service. My personal highlight was the prayer council dancing around the church, being as joyous as their rainbow ribbons!”
