A MUSIC festival weekend in aid of the Nick Jones Foundation for Bereaved Children is being held in July with support from local bands.
Westbury man, Nick Jones has experienced heart problems since 2012 after a small stroke. He was later diagnosed with malignant hypertension, which attacks the heart and internal organs. He is now being supported by the Dorothy House team for end-of-life planning.
A foundation has been set up in his name, receiving charitable status last month, to support children who are dealing with bereavement.
A music festival weekend, called The Big Westbury Weekender, is being held on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th July at Westbury Rugby Club to raise vital funds for the charity.
Organisers say, “This will be a massive weekend planned with loads of live music, food, bars and much more! Live performances from, The Leggomen, Cley Hill Stompers, The Mosquitoes, Wade Merritt, Lazarus. Plus more great acts to be announced!
