WESTBURY Town Council has extended the deadline for grant applications to next year.
The town council says, “In these uncertain times, we understand that applying for a grant on behalf of your community or voluntary group may not be a priority for you, but we wanted to let you know that we have extended our deadline for receiving grant applications until 31st January 2021.
“Our councillors will consider applications as and when received, making awards in line with our Grant Aid Policy, for as long as available funds allow.
“Unfortunately, it looks unlikely that we will be able to hold our Annual Awards Evening in October 2020, which is of great disappointment to both councillors and staff.
“We all look forward to this relaxed and happy evening, when we can have the opportunity to catch up with you all and celebrate in your success. We will continue to review this and if government guidance changes, we may hold this event at a later date.”
