Anew family-owned independent travel agency has arrived in Westbury. With a passion for travel, Keeva Travel offers a personalised service, that guarantees to find you your perfect holiday.
First opened in April this year, by husband and wife, Rory and Beneditta Mcmanus, the inspiration to start the new business came about when the couple experienced a life-changing event – the arrival of their first child.
“We named the business after our daughter, Keeva, who is aged one,” explained Rory. “After her arrival, I didn’t want to continue travelling to London for work – so we decided to set up our own business.
“I have over 20 years of experience in the travel sector. I have a real passion for travel and am well travelled, which helps me to offer lots of advice to our customers about what would suit their needs.
“Travelling and going on holiday can be quite a personal experience for some – so you need to be able to trust someone’s judgment when you are making a booking. Being a family-owned business, we can offer that personal service, building relationships with our customers.
“One thing we are doing that is quite unique, is asking our customers to send us their holiday photos so we can share them on our website – this will help bring our service to life and will hopefully inspire others as to where in the world they might go.”
As well as helping the people of Westbury, and the rest of the UK, to find the holiday destination of their dreams, Keeva Travel also offers a corporate travel service.
Beneditta said, “We are really keen to work with local businesses to support them with all their international needs. We have years of experience building relationships with businesses, so we can guarantee a top quality service.”
Currently, Keeva Travel is run from Rory and Beneditta’s own home with a team of 4, but they have big plans for the future. “We would love to expand and open a shop in Westbury,” said Rory. “In the meantime, customers can contact us by phone or via the website where they can request a call back.
“However, if people would like to meet us, we will have a stand at the Frome Cheese Show, next weekend on Saturday 9th September. We will be running a special competition to win a weekend break to Bordeaux – in keeping with the theme of the Cheese Show! The winner will get 2-nights’ bed and breakfast with flights included.
