The organisers of the Village Pump Folk Festival have announced that Weekend Tickets for this year’s festival at Tier 2 prices of £109 for an adult, £54.50 for youth and £10 for a child will come to an end at midnight on Tuesday 31st March.
Anyone wishing to get the full festival weekend experience – including free camping or camper vans – needs to get onto the new-look festival website (www.villagepumpfolkfes tival.co.uk) without delay to book their tickets. People wishing to book via the festival’s postal system also need in the first instance to visit the site and print off the postal booking form.
The 2015 event featuring festival patrons Show of Hands recording an exclusive live album, plus Treacherous Orchestra, Oysterband, False Lights, Barbara Dickson & Nick Holland, The Broonzies, Edward II, Mad Dog Mcrea, CoCo & The Butterfields, Calan and many, many more has already proved an attractive proposition to the festival fans – the Pumpers!
Geoff Cripps, volunteer marketing director said, “Booking for our 2015 event, the 4th edition of the re-born festival at the glorious White Horse Country Park, has been running well-ahead of previous years. Our mixture of firm Pump favourites along with exciting emergent talent has proved a tempting combination.
“Our weekend tickets offer a real bargain to the roots music lover – especially at Tier 2 prices. So we urge those yet to do so, to book now before Tier 3 prices are introduced from Wednesday 1st April.”
