WESTBURY Library has several free groups that local people can join if they are looking to make new friends over a warm cup of tea.
The tea and chat group runs every Friday afternoon at 2.30pm. It’s a free, drop-in event where there will be a cup of tea and friendly faces and there may even be cake on occasion.
Knit and Natter runs fortnightly on Monday afternoons at 2.30pm. Bring your craft projects and enjoy a cup of tea with fellow knitters and crafters.
The Enchanted Hour runs every Thursday afternoon at 2pm and it is a gentle group where you can enjoy the comfort of reading aloud; you can bring something to share or just sit back and listen.
The library also runs an IT support session every Tuesday afternoon at 2.30pm where you can find help with everything from emails and social media, to word processing and much more.
All groups are drop-in and free, and everyone is welcome. For more information contact Westbury Library on 01373 822294.
Warm space at the West End Baptist Church
The West End Baptist Church also hosts a warm space at the wellbeing café every Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to 12pm where people are encouraged to try some art therapy, take up a hobby, enjoy a table game with others, learn a new skill or just relax in the quiet space.
