Westbury Cider and Beer Festival returns this weekend for fun, food and festivities on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August, at Fullingbridge Farm Barn.
This year’s festival promises a weekend of delicious local ciders and beers, live music from talented local musicians, a variety of food vendors and family-friendly entertainment.
Festival organiser Carly Farley said, “The festival is the perfect weekend for all ages.
“It will be a ‘celebration of local flavours’ and showcase a wide selection of ciders and beers from local producers, giving attendees the chance to sample the best brews, from traditional apple ciders to innovative craft beers. There is something to suit every palate including beers from Westbury’s own Twisted Brewery and ciders from Lillie’s Cider in Frome and Thatchers in Somerset.
“There will be a line-up of local musicians performing, featuring sets from The Cleyhill Stompers, Brakelight, Mark Colton and Ben and Tim, and from top local DJ Shaun Smitherman.
“Kids can enjoy a dedicated play area with face painting, games and activities.
“And there will be a variety of food vendors offering delicious eats, from gourmet burgers to traditional festival fare and you can browse the stalls and find unique handcrafted items and local produce.”
Adult weekend tickets are £20 with under-12s free. Adult tickets for Saturday or Sunday are £13.50. For those who want to make a weekend of it, camping is available on-site at £5 per person.
“Mark your calendars and join us for a weekend of fun, food, and music at the Westbury Cider and Beer Festival,” added Carly. “Tickets are starting to sell fast, so make sure to grab yours now before they are all gone! Don’t miss out on this great festival!
