DANNY Sergiu, who fights out of Westbury’s Collision Fight Academy, won his fourth fight in a row last month at Syndicate nightclub in Bristol.
Following the kickboxing victory, the 28-year-old now holds a record of 17 wins, six losses, and three draws.
He fought Basingstoke’s Stuart Lumsden under Pro K-1 kickboxing rules, at ‘New Breed 10’ on Saturday 26th July at Syndicate.
Danny said, “Even though I got a unanimous decision it definitely wasn’t an easy fight.
“The best thing about the fight was the fact that Lumsden was undefeated before he faced me. It’s a great feeling when you beat someone who’s never lost before.
“I want to say a big, big thanks to the fans, Team Breakthrough health and performance centre, Bad boy supplements, and Lee Tilley carpentry who are always backing me up.”
Danny, who has held eight title belts already, has had his next title fight in September cancelled, but hopes for more fights this year to keep his win streak going.
In the meantime, he will continue running martial arts and fitness classes with the Collision Fight Academy. The classes are run in Westbury and Calne in Danny’s free time, and are designed for students of all ages and abilities, whether they want to compete or simply keep fit.
