All of the year 6 children at Westbury Junior School recently went on their annual residential trip to Hooke Court in Dorset.
Over 50 children and eight adults visited the education centre for an action-packed three days. Under wonderful blue skies, the children built dens, learnt how to light fires, prepared and cooked food over a camp fire, took part in a barn dance and stayed up far too late!
Mrs Sweet, one of the teachers said, “It’s a marvellous opportunity for the children to experience quality outdoor learning activities and a chance for the year group to bond as a team.”
