BRATTON Pre-school is celebrating after an OFSTED inspection gave them two ‘outstanding’ ratings.
The pre-school was inspected over two days in November, and was found to be providing an outstanding service of safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare and in helping children make a positive contribution to their learning and development.
All other areas of our practice were judged to be strong in the OFSTED report. As for all OFSTED pre-school inspections, the inspectors arrived unannounced to observe the way the nursery is run.
Play leader Wendy Waller said, “We are delighted that the quality of the provision has been recognised and that the hard work, commitment and support of staff, committee and the wider community is ensuring that pre-schoolers in this area are continuing to get an ever improving start to their educational careers!”
The pre-school is based in Bratton Jubilee Hall, and cares for 30 children between 2-and-a-half and 4-years-old.
