A man from Westbury has been sentenced to eight years in prison for drug offences.
Khyl Harrington, 32, was sentenced at Salisbury Crown Court on 10th October after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine between 2019 and 2023 and for possession of criminal property.
He was arrested on 13th June 2023 after intelligence was submitted by members of the public. Officers searched his home and seized cocaine, which had a street value of £38,650, and £5,900 in cash.
Detective Constable Ian Tilley said, “Harrington was living a lifestyle that was beyond his means, such as going on expensive holidays. This was all funded by his criminality.
“We know the huge impact and harm that drugs cause within our communities, from the impact on users and their family and friends to the associated crime and antisocial behaviour affecting neighbours and the wider community.
“Creating safer public spaces remains a key force priority and we are determined to make Westbury and the wider county a hostile area for drug dealers.”
