SPRUCED up bench seats were among the latest works expertly carried out by the Westbury United tidy up gang at Meadow Lane.
Geoff Steer and Keith Harvey, pictured above, painted the pitch retaining wall’s bottom row of blocks black, to help the advertising boards stand out better.
Stuart Fryer (pictured below) repaired all six seats by replacing rotten timbers and fitting new top cover boards. Fine Signs supplied the cover board material free of charge and Duncan and Nick Wilkins of Timber and Allied provided new timbers at a very competitive prices.
Also pictured (right) is Dave Medley who installed the angles that will hold the forthcoming Roy Dutchman Stand Board. Westbury Park Engineering supplied the angles free of charge. Bearings Plus of Pegasus Way on the Bowerhill Trading Estate in Melksham supplied all the fixings free of charge and Mike Bernach helped out with his steel erection expertise.
