Westbury United have announced their pre-season fixtures ahead of the new football season.
The White Horse Men will play seven friendlies, including five matches at Platinum Hyundai Park and two away trips.
Supporters will see a range of opposition visit Meadow Lane, from local rivals to higher-level sides.
The programme begins on Saturday 4th July, when Sturminster Newton United visit Westbury. The Dorset club secured promotion after winning the Western League Division One play-offs and will compete in the Wessex League Premier Division, Step 5, of the non-league pyramid, next season.
Three days later, on Tuesday 7th July, Bridgwater United travel to Westbury. The Somerset side play in the Western League Premier Division and have been regular challengers in the division in recent seasons.
Westbury’s first away fixture comes on Saturday 11th July, with a trip across the Severn Bridge to face Welsh side Llantwit Major AFC.
Bradford Town are the visitors on Tuesday 14th July. The Bradford-on-Avon club are familiar opponents and currently compete in the Western League Premier Division.
Another local derby follows on Friday 17th July, when Westbury travel to neighbours Warminster Town who play in the Western League Division One.
One of the standout fixtures arrives on Tuesday 21st July, when Chippenham Town visit Platinum Hyundai Park. The Bluebirds compete in the Southern League Premier, a division above Westbury after dropping from the National League South last season.
The programme concludes on Saturday 25th July, with a home match against Winchester City. The Hampshire side, who were fellow members of the Southern League South with Westbury last season, have switched to the Isthmian League South Central Division for the forthcoming campaign and will provide another strong test before competitive action gets under way.
