THE Laverton is holding a competition giving local businesses the chance to win a Christmas party in the hall.
To enter the competition, all you have to do is name the four famous faces in the Laverton’s window, and email your answers, name, and company’s name to Lilly Bale on l.bale@west burytown council.gov.uk.
Lilly said, “I was inspired to do something after the business breakfast at The Laverton last month; I met 31 fantastic businesses, some of whom had never visited The Laverton.
“I wanted more people to come and enjoy Abraham Laverton’s legacy, so I began a friendly business competition for the festive season!”
The closing date for entries is Thursday 20th November, and the winner will be drawn at random, then announced by the mayor at the Christmas lights switch-on event on 22nd November.
The prize only includes the use of the hall and its facilities PA system, chairs, tables, tablecloths, cutlery, table vases and two bartenders. A list of local caterers and menus will be provided.
