Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following two thefts of vehicles in Westbury.
The first incident took place on Monday 15th September at approximately 1.00am in Bratton Road, Westbury.
A red Volkswagen Golf was driven down Bratton Road where it collided with a wall. The car was then driven a short distance away from the scene before being abandoned.
The car was taken without the owners consent.
A 19 year old female and a 24 year old male, both from Westbury, have been arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries in relation to this incident.
The second, unrelated incident took place just after midnight on Saturday 20th September in the Hawkeridge area of Westbury.
A silver Vauxhall Corsa was taken without the owner’s consent before being abandoned.
A 26 year old male and a 24 year old female, both from the Frome area, were arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries in relation to this incident.
The two incidents are not being linked at this time.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the areas during the times when these incidents took place.
