Dilton Marsh Pre-School is happy to announce that they are now graded ‘Good,’ following an inspection from OFSTED.
Chairman of the pre-school committee, Jack Luxford said, “We are very happy with the result of this inspection as the previous two resulted in ‘Satisfactory’ grades which did not accurately portray the extremely professional service provided by our pre-school and the staff.
“There is a big step between the old ‘Satisfactory’ grade and the current ‘Good,’ and we are all proud of the effort that has been put into achieving this.
“The staff have gone above and beyond what they are paid to do and have worked tirelessly outside of their opening hours and have now been rewarded with this grade.
“Parents were spoken to by the inspector on the day, who reported back to us that their comments were all very positive and complimentary, so we would like to thank them and we must say a huge thanks to all of the children as they too played a big part in impressing the inspector.
“This achievement has spurred us on and who knows what the next inspection might bring – maybe the highest accolade of ‘Outstanding’ – fingers crossed, but for the time being we are happy with what we have achieved.”
