MAYOR of Westbury, cllr David Windess, sends the following Christmas message to readers of the White Horse News:
“I would like to wish all the people of Westbury a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I would like to thank cllr Christine Mitchell and the members of the ‘Christmas in Westbury’ working group, and all the staff at the council offices for all their hard work in organising these events.
“With 2011 drawing to a close, we have some fantastic things to look forward to; the Jubilee with some great events happening in Westbury, the Olympics and more locally, the opening of the new health centre, to mention just a few.
“I would personally like to thank all those who donate their time and effort to all the charities and organisations that make Westbury such a great place to live.
“So once again, have a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.”
