A community Easter egg hunt is taking place across Westbury to raise funds for 4Youth (South West), which supports young people in the town.
The Westbury Yarn Bombers have hidden crocheted eggs at four locations around the town for people to find. The trail starts at the post box opposite Dilton Memorial Hall. From there, families can scan the QR code and follow the rhyming clues to find each egg.
“This Easter, we’re launching something special for Westbury – a community Easter egg trail designed to bring families together, encourage people to explore the town, and raise funds for an incredible local charity: 4Youth,” said Marisa, founder of the Westbury Yarn Bombers.
“I’ve seen their work in action here in Westbury, and I know how much difference they make to young people and their families.”
Participation is free, but Marisa is encouraging people to donate to her fundraiser for the charity at: https://www.justgiving.com/page/westbury-yarn-bombers-4
Submit your entries to the hunt by sending photos of the eggs to westburyyarnbombers@gmail.com before Sunday 5th April. A prize will be awarded on Monday 6th April.
More information on the trail can be found at a display in Westbury Morrisons.
