“Entertainment was led by Ruby Darbyshire, who delighted visitors with singing and an impressive bagpipe performance,” said Tracey Morris, events coordinator at Westbury Town Council, which organises the event.
“A packed audience was treated to a performance of energy and creativity as ALW Dance and Bitham Brook Musical Theatre Club took to the stage.
“Families enjoyed games and fairground rides, and a police van was brought along by Wiltshire Police Cadets. Local traders, including Westbury’s Really Awesome Coffee, Posh Crepes and Bramblerose Designs, offered a variety of treats, making the day a lively celebration of community spirit.”
At the recent Annual Town Meeting, Councillor Jessica George described the event as “a hive of activity”. She said, “It was absolutely beautiful, and it wasn’t just our young people, it was everybody getting involved.”
Sunday Brunch will take place in Soisy Gardens from 10am to 2pm on the last Sunday of every month until August. The next event will take place on Sunday 31st May.
