THE new Swim School at Westbury Swimarium is getting ready to welcome students into their purpose-built pool this summer, and the school’s aim is to get Westbury youngsters up to scratch with swimming lessons that they may have missed during the pandemic.
The Swimarium, located on Meadow Lane, will open its doors this summer, and will have ‘world-class’ classes for both adults and children. The date of the grand opening is yet to be confirmed.
Westbury Swimarium say, “The swim school has been providing swim education to children and adults for over 30 years, and during this time has evolved into a truly ‘world-class’ swim school.
“We teach groups of children, from beginner (with a parent) to those on the verge of competitive training. We run 45-minute swim lessons for children from the age of three.
“Our programme comprises of eight attainment levels, with clearly defined criteria for progress from one stage to the next. All our swim teachers are fully qualified, have a life-saving qualification & enhanced DBS. We offer a range of weekly swimming lessons plus holiday courses.”

The Swimmarium adds, “We promote happiness and enjoyment in swimming and cultivate a success-filled environment for all, at every level throughout the programme. We invite all new swimmers to a free lesson / swim assessment. If your child is aged three or four, we invite them to a beginner trial lesson.
“We also run 45 minute and one-hour lessons for adults from complete beginners to those looking to improve their stroke technique.”
