AGE UK is opening up a furniture shop in Westbury, and is appealing for donations of small items of furniture.
The charity is converting its Edward Street shop into a furniture shop, starting off with smaller items of furniture before starting to stock bigger items. The High Street shop will continue to stock clothes.
Manager Adrian Dando said, “Both shops are doing well. We want the general public to donate small items of furniture, and we will be building up to bigger items.”
The shop is also appealing for someone who can test electrical items, so that the shop can stock these as well.
