Things are changing at Westbury Leigh with exciting plans for 2015.
The school has launched a new purpose-built website, joined Twitter to announce events taking place and later this month will be officially launching its Virtual Learning Platform where children can access their own and their classes online pages.
“Not only have we had a very successful Christmas, with fantastic performances and a delicious Christmas dinner hosted by our kitchen staff to 400 pupils and staff members, but we have also recently released our fantastic new purpose built website,” explained Naomi Lawrence, the school’s office manager.
“To add to our fabulous website, we have also joined Twitter, follow us at @WBLeighsch for all the latest exciting events taking place at our school.
“On Wednesday 21st January at 2.00pm we will be officially launching our Virtual Learning Platform – parents are welcome to take a visit to our school on this day to find out more information.
“On Thursday 22nd January we have a magnificent Music Festival, where children from the school, who have been working exceptionally hard to improve their musical talents, will be performing. Please come and enjoy the show, celebrating our pupils’ remarkable talents.
“If any prospective parents would like to come and take a tour around our vibrant forward thinking school to see what other wonderful and exciting things that are happening, then please do not hesitate in contacting the school office on 01373 822230 to arrange a visit.”
