South West Wiltshire MP Dr Andrew Murrison has announced he will join Boris Johnson and Michael Gove in campaigning for a ‘No’ vote at the upcoming EU referendum.
The ex defence minister said, “I wanted to see what the EU was prepared to accept in the negotiations before finalising my position this weekend. I am so sorry that, despite David Cameron’s efforts, Brussels has conceded little as the German Chancellor and French President have now admitted.
“As a minister I witnessed at first hand just how little influence the UK really has as one of 28 in the democratically unaccountable institutions of Brussels which make so many of our laws for us.
“I look forward to helping put a positive prospectus before voters in the run up to 23rd June that will explain how the UK will have a brighter, more globally influential and prosperous future outside the formal structures of the EU.
