The annual night of traditional carols at The Hollies Inn returns this weekend.
The event is taking place at Sunday 7th December at 7pm.
“Carol singing in pubs is a tradition that goes back hundreds of years when carols could not be sung in church,” said Ashley, the Lay Minister of the White Horse Team who organised the event alongside Charlie, The Hollies Inn’s landlord.
“Local people would get together in local inns and public houses to celebrate Christmas with an evening of singing carols accompanied with a glass of the local brew.”
“Everyone is welcome to join us for a memorable evening singing their favourite carols in the friendly atmosphere of The Hollies supping their favourite brew.”
The event is free to attend, and there is no pre-booking required.
