DILTON MARSH CE Primary School recently received a donation of books from Morrisons community champion, Mel Griggs .
The school reports, “With the highest number of Facebook votes from the local community, we were delighted with our donation of books.”
Literacy lead at the school, Chris Foyle, added, “This was a lovely surprise. As the year goes on there will be writing and storytelling competitions and we would like to use the new books as prizes. We are looking forward to celebrating a postponed World Book Day this week so that all children now in school can join in with dressing up as their favourite book character.”
