WESTBURY business owners have created a free trail for children this half-term, to spot what is odd in shop windows around the town.
From Wednesday 23rd October – Saturday 2nd November, Westbury businesses in the High Street and along Warminster Road, Maristow Street and the Market Place have teamed up to create an ‘oddity hunt’ in the hope of bringing more people into the town centre.
Each participating business will have something in their window that doesn’t belong there. Children need to go on a hunt around the town and find the odd items.
Each trail sheet will have a list of ‘oddities’ and children need to find which business has which oddity.
Once they have completed the trail, they can drop it off at Cards Plus where they will receive a free lollipop.
Claire Rumary at Cards Plus said, “It’s a great way for us to interact with the children during half-term and encourage more people to go around the town and find out what shops/businesses have to offer!”
