Christmas came early to Westbury Infant School in their last week of term.
The children learnt a variety of Christmas songs and recorded them for a Christmas album due out later in the year. They also re-recorded the school’s ‘Wish song’ and will perform this live on 26th September at the Laverton hall in Westbury.
Westbury Infants have been lucky to have the support of local guitarist Josh White, who generously gave his time to help them practise the songs and then accompany their Christmas songs. They would also like to thank the Westbury Lions, Westbury Music and Arts Festival Committee, Barry Mole and Adrienne Hayle, who sings on the ‘Wish song’, for their generous support to make this possible. The children and parents are all very excited to hear the end result of their two albums.
