WITH the arrival of spring and the weather brightening up, it’s the perfect time to enjoy a coach trip to Stratford-upon-Avon with Westbury’s Imperial Charity.
The trip will be on Wednesday 13th April and tickets are just £5, with adults and children with special needs going free. Pick up points and timings are printed on the tickets.
Stratford-upon-Avon is a medieval market town and is the birthplace of William Shakespeare. There are a myriad of things to do and places to visit, ranging from a stroll down the quintessentially English banks of the River Avon, to an open-air bus tour. Street performers and entertainers also parade along the waterside to engross and enthral as you explore the town.
There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants offering lots of different choices of cuisine, and most are situated near the river, so it’s the perfect opportunity to relax and rest your feet.
The coach should arrive back from Stratford-upon-Avon at around 6.30pm. Tickets are available from the charity shop or Westbury or Warminster Hub.
Other trips planned include Minehead, Weymouth and Weston-super-Mare. For more information visit www.imperialcharity.co.uk
