WHITE Horse News’s 2013 ‘Person of the Year’ Hilary Reed will be holding a coffee morning this month to raise money for the charity Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Hilary along with other committee members will be holding the annual coffee morning at the Paragon Hall in Westbury on Saturday 17th October, from 10am – 12pm.
Hilary said, “The event is set to be bigger and better than in previous years with some new and varied stalls. Please come along and support us and stock up early for Christmas gifts and Christmas cards.
“We will also have the ever popular homemade cake stall which always has a varied amount of delicious cakes. As usual we will have a grand raffle with many prizes.
“There will also be a chance to meet guide dog owners with their guide dogs, including the newest guide dog in Westbury, a beautiful German Shepherd named Harley. Harley is the latest guide dog for a very well known person in Westbury, Roy Cox.
“You can see first hand, what the monies raised are used for and how much funds are needed for future dogs. Harley is Roy’s third guide dog. There will also be puppy walkers and puppies including my 17-week-old puppy Nessie. So please come along and support us.
“The coffee morning would not be possible without the help of the committee of the Labour Club who allow me to use the hall each year and I would like to thank them publicly for their kindness and help.
“I look forward to welcoming you to the hall on Saturday 17th October.”
