WESTBURY Town Council will contribute 30% towards the £165 cost of signs warning that Alfred Street is unsuitable for use by HGVs.
The council’s highways, planning and development committee unanimously approved the proposal at its latest meeting.
The signs will be installed on existing lampposts at both ends of Alfred Street.
