A NEW cafe and takeaway, Aimi’s, has opened in the High Street owned by familiar faces, Aimee Stovold and Michelle Silcox.
Aimi’s Cafe & Takeaway opened last month by Aimee, who previously worked in a Westbury bakery for 16 years and Michelle, who previously worked in the High Street for over 20 years.
An opportunity arose for them to start their own business, still in the High Street, and they jumped at the chance.
They will be serving breakfasts to eat in or takeaway from 7am and hot food served until 2pm, Monday to Saturday, with the cafe closing at 4pm.
They offer a meal deal which includes any cold baguette, sandwich or panini with any drink and a choice of crisps or cake for £3.25. There is also a deal which includes a bacon baguette and hot drink for £2.75.
The cafe provides a friendly and relaxed dining area or if customers need something on the go, the takeaway provides a perfect solution. They can provide jacket potatoes with various fillings, paninis, savouries and a variety of cakes.
Aimi’s Cafe & Takeaway serve premium coffee for only £1.50 each choosing from cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites, and americanos, with soya milk available.
Aimee and Michelle say, “We hope to provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere which everyone can relax and enjoy. We also offer free WiFi, so those working from home or students are welcome to enjoy our food and drink, as well as having a place to work.
“It was very scary to start our own business but it’s something we have always wanted to do and the opportunity arose, so it was perfect timing. It’s been a rollercoaster, but very exciting.
“We have been getting really good, positive, feedback from the customers, so we are glad we have given it a go!
“We would like to give a big thank you to friends and family for their help and support and who made this possible and also to the regular loyal customers. We hope to see you all soon.”
