Andy and Lyn, formerly of The Duke in Bratton, have returned to a new venue, The Somerset Arms in the village of Maiden Bradley, near Longleat.
They say, “We would love to welcome all our old customers and friends to visit us for good beer and food served daily.
“We are offering a range of homemade meals, including steaks, burgers, chicken, battered cod and roast dinners. Lyn specializes in allergen-free food, as she suffers from intolerances and so understands the difficulty of going out to eat.
“We have five ensuite bedrooms up and running, which can be booked online or direct by telephone or in person.
“We have a skittle alley available for use for private parties and skittles. The pool table has been replaced with a new one, with free pool on Sunday nights.
“Tuesday night is steak night, with two steaks and a bottle of wine for £25, (terms and conditions apply).
“Friday night we have Hi 5 poker from 8pm. Any ability can join in, and you may be in with a chance of going to the national finals, for a chance of winning £60,000.
“Up and coming we have Tractors and Trotters on Easter Monday, with tractors of any age welcome to gather at 10am to go for a short run. They will return to the pub where a hog roast will be available from 1pm. All proceeds will be donated to the Air Ambulance.
“We would love to see you all, and dogs and children are welcome.
“We are open Mondays from 6-11pm. Tuesdays-Thursdays 12-2.30 and 6-11pm. Fridays and Saturdays 12-12 and Sundasy 12 -10.30pm. Food is available lunchtimes and evenings until 9pm.”
Please call Andy or Lyn on 01985 844207 if you would like to book a table or a room, or if you wish to organise an event.
