CROISSANTS, cheeses, cakes, and many more French delicacies could be found in the Market Place on bank holiday Monday.
French market ‘Le Marche de France’ returned to town, bringing a great range of produce from all regions of France. The market included French cheeses, bread baked on-site, a patisserie stall, a charcuterie, olives, Turkish delights, smoked ham and terrines, mustards and sauces.
There was also a stall with ready made take away food including Spanish Paella, French Tartiflette, and Polish Bigos; and a stall with soaps and tablecloths from Provence.
