VERONICA Burden of the Warminster branch of the Mencap and Gateway club received a handsome cheque of Ј500 from new chairman David Smith of the Imperial Charity, which now have their main offices based in Westbury after moving from Warminster a short time ago.
Veronica said, “This is a wonderful donation, and will help us to take our ‘special needs’ people to local events and the theatres.”

David McCance said, “Imperial Charity, who are committed to helping children and adults with special needs, still have a contact office in Warminster at the John Loftus Property Services at 34 George Street, and are always there to help with any enquiries.”
