A NEW cafe and eatery has opened on the High Street.
The White Horse Cafe opened at 21 the High Street on Monday 7th September, serving food and refreshments. It will also offer a takeaway menu in the evenings serving a variety of hot and cold food.
Owner Emma Gerrish said she was looking forward to trading in Westbury.
“I’m excited, most definitely,” she said. “I hope that the cafe will bring more people into the High Street and that people will really enjoy it. We want to attract all kinds of people. Hopefully we’ll soon be able to start showing football matches as well.”
Westbury Mayor cllr Sue Ezra, who visited the cafe for its opening, said she welcomed the addition of the cafe to the High Street.
“I’m pleased to see it open, I think it’s a very positive addition to the town centre,” she said. “It’s very clean and very nice, I do hope it’s going to be a success.”
