THE MAN who was found dead inside a railway wagon at the Foster Yeoman yard in Westbury has been formally identified.
He was James Anthony Sprayson, 19, from Acocks Green in Birmingham. An inquest has been opened and adjourned until a date to be set next year. James Sprayson was found with severe facial injuries in the wagon by workers at the yard on the morning of Wednesday 7th October. Items of his clothing were later discovered on a railway bridge in Acocks Green.
Police sealed off the train for forensic examinations to take place. His injuries were not consistent with having been struck by a train. Police have ruled out third party interference.
