THE winners of the annual competition to design the town council’s Christmas card have been revealed.
The competition was stiff this year with well in excess of 100 entries submitted. Three winners, one from each of the age categories have now been chosen.
The overall winner is Milly Matthews, aged 5. Her winning design for the 3-5 year category is a festively decorated map of Westbury, which will feature on the front of Westbury Town Council’s Christmas card.
The winner of the 6-8 years category is Joshuha Hodkinson, aged 6, while the winning design of the 9-11+ years category was created by Megan Taylor, aged 11. Their designs will be featured on the back of the Christmas card.
The designs of the three winners are on display at Westbury Library until Christmas, along with the other entries.
All three winners will be rewarded with a certificate and £25 book token. They will also get to help switch on the town’s Christmas lights at the event on Friday 26th November.
