WESTBURY’S historic Market Place was filled with the sights and smells of the French-themed event and market on Saturday 30th April.
Continuing the success of previous themed markets to the town, the town council, in partnership with Wiltshire Council, organised the event which saw a wide variety of French food stalls from ‘Marche de France’ as well as hot food, Fairtrade goods, and children’s rides.
Westbury Mayor, cllr Christine Mitchell said, “I think the French Market was very successful, it was well attended and we had very nice weather as well. The Market Place is a lovely venue and we would definitely like to see more events such as the French Market take place there in the future.”
