MAYOR of Westbury, cllr Sue Ezra sends the following message to the readers of the White Horse News:
“Another year has passed and hopefully things are improving, with some new shops, the Market Place and maybe soon a weekly market.
“We have again mounted an exciting programme of Christmas events that have started with Santa and the switch-on of the lights.
“We must also give thanks to all those who work so hard for our local charities and for the young people of the town.
“The great pleasure that children give us over this festive time.
“We must also think of our less fortunate members of Westbury and give a thought for our neighbours that are on their own and those that have recently been bereaved.
“As mayor I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas, and the very best for 2010.”
