DO you enjoy the beautiful sights in and around Westbury? Do you also enjoy taking photographs? Your photograph could be featured in Westbury’s 2012 calendar!
Westbury Town Council will be publishing a calendar featuring local sights taken by local photographers and are calling for entries. 12 winning entries will be selected for the calendar – with one overall winner featuring on the front cover – and winners will also receive a voucher as a prize.
The calendar will be sold to raise funds for Westbury Mayor, cllr David Windess’ charities, Diabetes UK and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal.
David Windess said, “Simply send in your most inspiring image of Westbury and the surrounding area. There are no categories we just want you, the general public, to get out there and enjoy the vast amount of diverse wildlife, places, buildings and landscapes that Westbury has to offer.
“12 winning entries will be put into a 2012 Westbury calendar and the ultimate winner will feature on the front cover. Every photograph used will win a £20 voucher!”
The only rule is that you must have taken the photograph yourself. Please email the image to: amanda.mccann@westburytowncouncil.co.uk. Please state where the image was taken, along with your full name, address and contact telephone number.

By entering the competition you are giving Westbury Town Council permission to publish your photograph in Westbury’s 2012 calendar.
The calendar will be on sale from 1st October 2011, just in time to make a great Christmas gift for relatives and friends!
The closing date for the competition is 16th September.
