THE last issue of the White Horse News, dated the 10th November 2011, celebrated 500 editions and 20 years of your free, community newspaper.

• “The best free newspaper I’ve ever read, by a long way. Here’s to the next 500”
• “I also wish the White Horse News every success in the future. They have served the town well.”
• “Well Done WHN!”
• “This is a terrific paper for news locally, always well balanced, non biased reporting from the WHN. This is the only free paper I have ever come across where the majority of people actually look forward to their next copy. As ever I will carry on advertising with the WHN as I’ve always found you get a better response when advertising with them, unlike other papers.”
• “A good local paper”
• “Congratulations to WHN and of course to the team as well!”
• “Congratulations on 500 issues of the White Horse News over 20 years”
• “Congratulations to WHN for 500 superb editions!”
Thank you to all who have supported the paper over the years and helped the White Horse News – one of just a handful of independent newspapers left in the country – run as a success for so long.
