AN out-of-service train derailed just outside Westbury Station last Tuesday morning, causing delays and cancellations to services.
The train’s wheels came off the tracks at around 2.00am while it was travelling at approximately 5mph. The driver, who was the only person onboard the train, was not hurt.
Trains travelling from London stopped at Frome, with passengers taken to Westbury by bus. Trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour stopped at Trowbridge where passengers were taken by bus to Westbury.
