Dorothy House is hosting a jazz, sausage, mash and dessert fundraising event on Sunday 20th July (12.30 – 3.00pm) in a marquee in the hospice grounds.

Community fundraiser, Yvonne Brunton said, “What could be better for a summer’s day; delicious Sunday lunch in a marquee situated in beautiful grounds, listening to jazz and supporting your local hospice. I actually don another hat (rather than that of a community fundraiser) for this event and I’m the vocalist with the jazz band. It’s in its third year and usually sells out, so tickets are limited to 200 – last year it raised over £3,000 – so fingers crossed.”
