TO mark 10 years in business, local accountancy firm, Gooding Accounts, has committed to an ambitious programme of fundraising throughout 2024.
Led by partner Sam Gooding, the team aims to raise £50,000 by the end of the year with a range of sponsored challenges and a series of events organised by the firm.
“What better way to celebrate our 10-year anniversary than by giving back to the community that has supported us throughout that time,” says Sam.
Headline events include a celebratory summer party, a sportsman’s dinner, a Christmas charity auction along with a charity golf day to be held at the prestigious Cumberwell Park on Thursday 11th July.
“The entire team have pledged to take on personal sponsorship challenges, from a summer challenge where the firm’s partner and chief financial officer will take on an eye-watering five ultra marathons, to a team of nine tackling Snowdon in the dark to see the sunrise, to the Sober for 6 Challenge where our fantastic four will be completely tea-total for an entire six months,” added Sam.
“We also have a range of personal challenges, including a HIIT challenge for our marketing manager and the Bath Half Marathon from one of our Warminster client managers.”
The Gooding’s team has selected charities that have personal connections as well as supporting a range of Wiltshire-based charities including Dorothy House Hospice Care, Wessex MS Therapy Centre, Julia’s House, Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Wiltshire Mind and Made a Mark.
