A WESTBURY mum and businesswoman attended the Wiltshire Business Awards gala at Center Parcs last weekend after being shortlisted in three categories.
In competition with over 170 other Wiltshire organisations, self-employed Natasha Penny and her venture Busy Books were shortlisted for Small Business of the Year and Business Person of the Year, and were also in with a chance of winning the Overall Excellence Award.
Despite not taking any awards home, Natasha and colleague Chrystal Penny enjoyed their first time at the gala.
Natasha said, “It really was an energetic evening full of anticipation and competition!
“The wine was flowing and the awards were well deserved. We can’t wait to participate again next year. Although we were finalists in three categories we didn’t win this time, but it was awesome to be part of such a celebration of successful business.”
Natasha, who made White Horse News’s front page last year with her fundraising drive across Europe, set up Busy Books in 2012. She did so after leaving an accountancy job to become a more dedicated mother to her then two year-old daughter.
Busy Books offer a wide range of accountancy and administration services. Find out more at www.busybookswestbury.co.uk, or call 01373 229589.
