A WESTBURY woman was crowned ‘Accountant of the Year 2016’ at a national awards ceremony at the Houses of Parliament in December.
Natasha Penny, owner of Westbury accountancy Busy Books, won the award at the International Association of Bookkeepers’ UK and International Business and Skills Awards.
Natasha said, “I couldn’t make the House of Commons ceremony as my daughter Olivia was unwell; I was absolutely devastated to miss out!
“My mummy duties took priority of course, and at 6pm when they announced the winners online, I opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate!
“I don’t think it has quite sunk in yet. My customers and the Busy Books team are delighted and there has been even more cake, chocolate and flowers in the office this week than normal.
“My customers are thrilled that their accountant is THE accountant of the year!
“We will enter 2017 as an excited, thriving team with even more ambition to do a good job for all our clients, and of course hope to help even more people with our award-winning services!”
