A NEW club for older people in the local community to connect with one another, Friends United, is encouraging more people to join.
The club meets at Leigh Park Community Centre every Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm.
Organisers say, “Come and meet new friends, be part of a wider community, learn new skills and keep active. There is no need to book, simply just turn up.”
