FOLLOWING the Ofsted inspection that took place in March, everyone at Dilton Marsh Church of England Primary School is delighted to have achieved the ultimate accolade of the top grade that the inspectors can award – Grade 1 – Outstanding!
This grade was awarded for every element of the inspection; pupil achievement, the quality of teaching, the behaviour of pupils and for the leadership and management of the school at all levels.
This result represents the hard work of many people, over many years, and is recognition of everything that pupils, staff, parents, governors and the wider village community have invested in their school.
Ali Hyde, on behalf of the school said, “The prime philosophy of Dilton Marsh is a belief that all can achieve and all the effort goes into making that happen. The school is particularly pleased that Ofsted recognized how well all pupils are supported to achieve so highly, whatever their starting point and their ability.”
“Celebrations will be the order of the day on a grand scale, once they can be arranged, and in the meantime it has to be ‘business as usual’ so that we can maintain this high standard!”
