LOCAL town and Wiltshire councillor, Matthew Dean, is calling on local people to report any issues of fly tipping to Wiltshire Council through the MyWilts app following a flurry of incidents around the town.
“There have been incidents of fly tipping in both the east and west of the town, including areas such as Oldfield Park and areas surrounding Morrisons which is such a shame to see,” said cllr Dean.
“It has now all been cleared up I’m glad to say, but I would urge residents to take a photo of any fly tipping they may see around the town and report it through the MyWilts app. In some cases, Wiltshire Council may take enforcement action.”
The MyWilts app can also be used to report issues such as abandoned vehicles, fraud, weather emergencies, dog mess and graffiti.
To report something using MyWilts or download the updated app on an Apple or Android device, people should go to: www.wiltshire. gov.uk/mywilts
